Saw some of these in the local hardware store.
Figured I'd see if I could find some for less online.
Just on a lark, thought I'd check Craigs List. Turned out there was a guy in the San Francisco Bay area making them out of heavier gauge stainless than these and selling for half the price. (He takes credit cards and will ship them.)

After the original flavorizer bars rusted out, I discovered that stainless steel replacements were available and these should last the lifetime of the Weber Genesis grill. I also replaced the grill bars with stainless and will likely do the same with the warming racks. These should be standard equipment in place of the enameled iron parts!

Easy quick replacement that keeps your grill new and lasting long. Had my Weber 9 years now. Replaced grates and flavorizers this year and I'm sure to get another 9 or ten years maybe more!

Love my Weber Grill ..... and love the fact that I can buy replacement parts such as these "Flavorizer bars" right here on Amazon at a much lower price than local stores ....AND HAVE THEM SHIPPED FOR FREE! I had bought the Weber grill itself from Amazon, several years ago (maybe 10?), and would you believe that even at that time it shipped FOR ONLY $5 (yes, FIVE dollars!). We use the grill year-round (yes, even in the winter), and it is still almost like new, even though we never even cover it or bring it inside. In the winter, we just fire it up and melt the snow/ice off of it (Rochester, NY area), and throw on the steaks ... or burgers. Great product, great replacement parts, and GREAT SERVICE BY AMAZON!
